SHUCKS it's cold!

Well, I wanted to get out and see what the fuss was all about. The Atlanta OYSTER festival was at the outdoor park here called Piedmont Park. It was fun till our fingers starting freezing off-----I did move to the SOUTH didn't I??
Is this not where birds MIGRATE to get into the warmth???

It took us an hour to shuck these things and they weren't even RAW!
They were steamed.

All I can say is that when you hear someone sing from the soul---it does not matter what they sing. This man was incredible----I am so glad I got the chance to see him in concert here in Atlanta---and I even got to meet him! I asked him if it was hard not to look at me since all the songs were REALLY about me, but he said he did his best to just look maybe once :)

He is already pretty famous, but mark my word, this guy is going to be a HUGE HUGE success. BIGGER then George Michael :)

Damn. I wish I would not have given up musicians for lent.
