foutain of youth

Ok---not the fountain of YOUTH but the fountain where I stayed while in Rome the "TREVI" fountain---and my good friend of many ,many years met me there and we spent one fabulous day and night running around Rome catching up, taking in the sights, and he spent most of the time laughing at me and my sad attempt at italian. I remember when he came to America and tried to speak english and I kept making fun of him ----well---divine Karma at it's best I guess. At least we got some time to listen to the most AMAZING classical music that these musicians were playing in one of the main piazza's. Thanks God there is no need to translate classical music. We danced to the music and made a wish in the fountain. It was a good day with Marco. I have a feeling there might be a good day with another Marco before I leave.......

Rachel--
Great shot of the Trevi fountain,
because it truly catches the night-
time light and ambience there after
dark--it's always amazing to me how
these relatively small photos you
put on your blog work so well at taking me where you are.

Maybe when you get home you should rent ROMAN HOLIDAY--Audrey Hepburn
and Gary Cooper and Rome would fare
pretty well on your big screen...

Praying for you,

Rachel -

I've enjoyed reading about your vacation. Thanks for the pics and stories. I sent Animal Planet an email. Told them there's no reason to watch their stinkin' channel anymore.

Glad to hear you're putting this behind you and enjoying yourself. I really think you'll be doing another show very shortly!!

Good luck.
