foxy lady

My adventure took me to Fox Island (one of the Channel Islands of California) in my search for true love in the wild.

As you can see I found a happy couple snuggling up. Foxes do mate for life. Unless a younger, better looking fox comes into a female's territory. Apparently, a stranger passing through is the only thing that might make the female stray.

C'mon ladies, must we get so easily distracted? Where is the love? Dedication? You sly little foxes.

Hi! I'm Jeff in Cincinnati. I just saw an ad for your show while I was watching Meerkat Manor. This looks like it's going to be a fun show! I can't wait! (Google helped me find your blog. :-) )

Happy New Year!
Jeff

Hi Rachel,
This morning I saw an ad for your new show in the Boston Globe w/ a picture of you. I thought, "Hey, I used to know a Rachel Rienstra at Miniwanca. Could this be the same person?!" A little googling reveals that it is, so I'm writing to wish you all the best & say that I'll be watching the show for sure! Please say hi to Janelle, too, & tell her I'd love to be back in touch.

Go Draws,

I don't understand why you're hosting an educational show when it's obvious you don't know much about the topics. The show has a great premise but it would be so much better if someone who actually knew a thing about animals was hosting.

You're so fantastic, I love watching your new show. You're a natural, and your love and enthusiasm for what you're talking about shines through. I have very few favourites in this area. Steve Irwin and Jeff Corwin are the only two I've watched and truly respected, and now you are amongst them as well.
Take care, and best of luck in everything.

Hello, Rachel... or "Mrs. Reenstra".. er... "Ms. Adventure"... which do you prefer? I have seen a couple of your shows, I saw the episode where you helped demonstrate how to trap a bear. That was funny. You're show is great, and you have a cool blog.
But, may I just say that your show has a lousy timeslot... Friday nights... esh... you got competition. Nonetheless, hope your show continues.
